Rapid Adventures Sri Lanka is proud to announce that we have won the Leading Promotional Campaign award at the South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) 2026.
The SATA 2026 Gala and Awards Ceremony took place on October 7 and 8, 2026 in the Barceló Nasandhura Malé, Maldives, marking the 10th anniversary edition of South Asia’s leading travel and hospitality awards. The event brought together top travel executives, hoteliers and tourism leaders from Sri Lanka, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
Founder and CEO Chathuranga Madurawala travelled to the Maldives to accept the award on behalf of the Rapid Adventures team.
This year’s edition was one of the most competitive yet, with close to a thousand nominations from across the region and an evaluation process that ran from June to July through Colombo, Bengaluru, New Delhi, Kathmandu, Paro, Dhaka and Malé.
This recognition reflects the work our team puts into telling Sri Lanka’s adventure story, from Kitulgala’s rapids to the hills of Meemure, and showing travellers what the island has to offer beyond the usual routes.
It also adds to our growing SATA track record:
