A long walk into the wild — Our Horton Plains Story
Most people talk about Horton Plains like it’s a calm morning walk. Sunrise. Fresh air. A few photos at World’s End before breakfast. A neat little box to tick off a Sri Lankan travel list. That version exists, sure it’s printed on brochures and Instagram captions. But anyone who has truly walked into the heart of Horton Plains knows that it doesn’t reveal itself that easily. It doesn’t offer beauty without effort. It doesn’t hand over silence, scale, or perspective unless you’re willing to arrive tired, uncomfortable, and a little unsure of yourself.
