This was an incredible experience - one night in the middle of the jungle (we had the "rose apple" room), including all these sounds from all sorts of animals. The room is beautiful with lovely wooden interior. All this is rounded up by the manager, who is very competent and helpful, and all of his staff who are doing a marvellous job!

We had a wonderful stay of 2 days at Wanakaset. The Glamping offers a couple of rooms with a view over the jungle. It has one room with a 180 degree view over the jungle. Same view is there one story down from the joint room below. What a view, the birds and monkeys are around you. We had fun when the monkeys were playing at and in the pond. The staff is truly amazing. They offered me a coffee early morning while i was up early for birdwatching. They serve vegetarian local meals which are prepared with ingredients from the jungle. If you can get over the luxury of a swimming pool and a menucard, then this is an excellent spot to relax and enjoy nature.

A magical place in the middle of the jungle. Incredible. A haven of peace, far from the crowds, in a quiet place. The food is very good. Magnificent!

The most beautiful resort in Sri Lanka with lots of activities and a beautiful view of the jungle and their animals. The room was very clean and their homemade cooking is superb. But the best part is the hospitality of the manager and his staff. We lost our phone during our stay in a tuk tuk and they truly went out of their way to help find it back. And after a small accident they brought us to the hospital and let us stay the whole afternoon after check out in the room.
