Make your lagoon boat trip memorable down with the Hamilton Canal, which was originally constructed by the Dutch and later fortified by the British in 1802, being named after Gavin Hamilton. The scenic journey commences from the popular sea side village of Negombo. Experience the beautiful ride while the fishermen get their fishing nets ready for their next sail. Enjoy the serenity and cool breeze of the Hamilton Canal. However the highlights of the tour is to see the boats are launched to the sea and the excess catch is being washed and sun dried to be sold out as ‘dried fish’
