Adventure Ignites at the Action Center
Start your day at the Rapid Adventure's Action Center, where our guides will greet you and get you geared up for the canyoning experience. Once you're ready, we’ll take you to the canyoning site, deep within the lush rainforest of Kitulgala.
The jungle trail awaits
From the drop-off point, enjoy a short, guided walk through forest trails (approx 10 minutes), surrounded by the sounds and sights of the wild. It's the perfect way to warm up before the action begins.
Gear up & safety check
At the activity zone, our expert guides will provide a clear safety briefing and help you gear up with professional equipment. You'll be fully prepared and supported every step of the way before heading into the water.
The ultimate slide & jump challenge
Ease into the fun with smaller jumps and gentle natural slides, then step it up with bigger slides and exciting leaps into crystal-clear jungle pools. After the experience, we’ll guide you back through the forest trail and take you to the Rapid Adventure's Action Center to wrap up your adventure.

Be honest about your level of fitness. Do not attempt an activity if you are not in a condition to participate.
Please wear suitable clothing and shoes for the activity. Make sure they're comfortable and that you won't mind them getting a bit damp or muddy.

Children must generally be 6 years or older. Final eligibility is at the discretion of our guides, as safety equipment (such as life jackets) must fit properly. If it does not, participation will not be allowed.

Experience was incredible
This canyoning experience was incredible. The rainforest setting was beautiful, and every jump and slide added to the excitement. The instructors guided us expertly, making us feel safe even while tackling bigger jumps. Abseiling down the main waterfall was absolutely epic. A must-do for anyone visiting Kitulgala.

A unique and safe adventure
Kitulgala canyoning is pure fun! Everything was well organized from the moment we arrived at the Action Center. We were fitted with clean, solid gear and had a detailed safety rundown that made me feel confident despite it being my first time. The walk to the site was stunning lush greenery and the sound of water rushing nearby. Once we got into the action, the guides really helped us build up from small challenges to the big jumps. It was the perfect adrenaline rush in a truly beautiful setting. A unique and safe adventure I’d absolutely recommend to anyone.

This was the highlight of my entire trip to Sri Lanka. The canyoning setup is super professional. The guides at Rapid Adventures were warm, funny, and clearly knew their stuff. I was a bit nervous, but the safety briefing helped me relax. Sliding down smooth rock faces and jumping into deep, clear pools surrounded by rainforest. The whole group was cheering each other on, and the vibe was amazing. You get wet, you get wild, and you leave grinning ear to ear. 10/10 experience!
