Our guider from the hotel was Miss Yashodara and she did a great job. She arranged our time effectively. And also, Mr. Dhanuka helped us and secured our safe throughout the kayaking. Our stay was so amazing with the number of new activities such as kayaking, nature walk, gami gedara, etc. It was a new concept with an beautiful environment. The food was so yummy specially koththu 🤤 and the staff is highly skilled and so friendly. 😍

We had a guided tour of the hotel on day 1, which was very insightful, as they grow lots of fruit, spices, tea etc on site. We also did a canoe trip. On day 2, we had an ox-trip to some purpose-built mud huts, where we had a go at pottery, loom, and tried the local toddy. The only downside was I struggled to sleep due to a banging noise, which was possibly due to the floating room situation.
