## Overview
Our 2026 Knuckles Five Peaks Challenge invites the brave to conquer Sri Lanka's most legendary mountain marathon in a single breathtaking day. Starting from Thangappuwa, participants traverse all five major peaks - covering over 20km through UNESCO World Heritage wilderness. 

The journey weaves through emerald tea estates, mystical pygmy forests, misty cloud forests, and windswept grassland plateaus while spotting endemic wildlife in crystal streams. This is not just a hike - it's a test of endurance, mental strength, and mountain spirit. Summit by summit, you'll push your limits and earn panoramic views that few ever witness. Return transformed, with 24 hours invested in an experience that pays dividends for a lifetime.

The Knuckles Forest Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a breathtaking wilderness of cloud-kissed peaks, lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and diverse wildlife. Perfect for trekking, camping, and birdwatching, it offers an authentic escape into nature’s purest form in the heart of Sri Lanka.

## Things to Know & Policies
### What You'll Need
- Walking shoes, clothing suitable for hiking and water activities, rain coats, personal things with a small backpack
- Personal first aid kit
- A Dettol antiseptic bottle for leaches. (You can buy in any Pharmacy)
- Bring along your good spirits and a thirst for adventure

### Safety Instructions
- Do not consume alcohol, intoxicants, or heavy meals before activities.
- We need to know if you are suffering from heart conditions, epilepsy, or any other medical condition before participating in our activities. Especially food allergies.
- Be honest about your level of fitness. Do not attempt an activity if you are not in a condition to participate.
- Please wear suitable clothing and shoes for the activity. Make sure they're comfortable and that you won't mind them getting a bit damp or muddy.
- Follow the guide’s instructions at all times. We are not liable for injuries or damages caused by ignoring safety briefings or instructions.
