## Overview
Our 2022 Knuckles Five Peaks Challenge pushed adventurers to their limits with a grueling single-day traverse of all five major peaks in the UNESCO World Heritage mountain range. Starting from the Bambarella route, participants summited Knuckles Peak covering over 20km of challenging terrain through cloud forests, grasslands, and rocky ridges. This dawn-to-dusk expedition tested endurance and mental strength while our mountaineering crew shared navigation techniques and waterfall hunting skills. The ultimate bucket-list trek for serious mountain enthusiasts seeking Sri Lanka's most demanding day hike.

The Knuckles Forest Reserve, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a breathtaking wilderness of cloud-kissed peaks, lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and diverse wildlife. Perfect for trekking, camping, and birdwatching, it offers an authentic escape into nature’s purest form in the heart of Sri Lanka.

## Things to Know & Policies
### What You'll Need
- Walking shoes, clothing suitable for hiking and water activities, rain coats, personal things with a small backpack
- Personal first aid kit
- A Dettol antiseptic bottle for leaches. (You can buy in any Pharmacy)
- Bring along your good spirits and a thirst for adventure

### Safety Instructions
- Do not consume alcohol, intoxicants, or heavy meals before activities.
- We need to know if you are suffering from heart conditions, epilepsy, or any other medical condition before participating in our activities. Especially food allergies.
- Be honest about your level of fitness. Do not attempt an activity if you are not in a condition to participate.
- Please wear suitable clothing and shoes for the activity. Make sure they're comfortable and that you won't mind them getting a bit damp or muddy.
- Follow the guide’s instructions at all times. We are not liable for injuries or damages caused by ignoring safety briefings or instructions.
