## Overview
Our 2017 Delft Island expedition combined adventure with purpose—a two-day charity camping experience on Sri Lanka's remote coral island in the Palk Strait. Participants explored wild pony habitats, historic Dutch colonial ruins, and vast coral landscapes while supporting local communities facing water scarcity. This overnight adventure featured boat crossings from Jaffna, beachside camping under the stars, CSR activities to aid island habitants, and team bonding around campfires. A meaningful journey where we explored the mysteries of Delft while making a tangible difference in the lives of its people.

## Things to Know & Policies
### What You'll Need
- Walking shoes, clothing suitable for hiking and water activities, rain coats, personal things with a small backpack
- Personal first aid kit
- A Dettol antiseptic bottle for leaches. (You can buy in any Pharmacy)
- Bring along your good spirits and a thirst for adventure

### Safety Instructions
- Do not consume alcohol, intoxicants, or heavy meals before activities.
- We need to know if you are suffering from heart conditions, epilepsy, or any other medical condition before participating in our activities. Especially food allergies.
- Be honest about your level of fitness. Do not attempt an activity if you are not in a condition to participate.
- Please wear suitable clothing and shoes for the activity. Make sure they're comfortable and that you won't mind them getting a bit damp or muddy.
- Follow the guide’s instructions at all times. We are not liable for injuries or damages caused by ignoring safety briefings or instructions.
